The Honorable Joseph Fornance (1804-1852) was born in 1804 in Lower Merion and died in 1852. He graduated from law school and started a law practice in Norristown, Pennsylvania. Joseph Fornance was President of Norristown Town Council, a member of Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1834), and a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives (1839-1843).
